Young Erie Professionals (YEP) was founded in 2002 by two individuals who were determined to not only retain young professionals to the Erie area, but also wanted to provide members with the opportunity to network professionally with career-minded peers while actively participating in their community. Today, YEP is comprised of over 200 young professionals ages 21 and over from the Greater Erie County Area. We hope to continue not only growing the number of members in our organization, but also the impact that we have on the future of Erie. YEP is growing and continues to grow as it becomes its own 501(c)(6) organization. We have expanded to allow for six total committees: Executive, Civic and Community Engagement, Growth and Success, Marketing, Recreation and Wellness, and Social. Each of these committees and the volunteers who serve on them are essential to YEP meeting its strategic goals. These committees align with our purpose and values: Inclusion, Community, Leadership, and Advocacy.Young Erie Professionals would not be possible without the generous support of all of our donors.
